Buenos Aires, November 27 (NA) – This afternoon, a bus from the company Misión Buenos Aires went off the road and crashed into a guardrail on the La Plata - Buenos Aires highway at kilometer 52. According to the official report accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the bus was carrying passengers who are unharmed. For reasons still under investigation, the driver failed to make the turn correctly, and the bus became embedded in the guardrail, causing a diesel fuel leak. There were no serious injuries, but the incident caused delays. Officers from the Buenos Aires Provincial Police in Ensenada, AUBASA personnel, and traffic safety officials are working at the scene. AUBASA staff applied an ecological mineral absorbent to the asphalt to clean up the spilled fuel. Police have secured the area while waiting for a suitable tow truck. A Mercedes-Benz truck that was behind the bus remained stationary, blocking traffic on the highway. The case is under investigation.
